Post-registration and IP management
Managing Trade Marks for Substantial Growth
Unlike registered designs and patents, trade marks do not have a limitation period of protection. However, it is necessary to pay renewal fees to maintain the registration. The term of protection varies among jurisdictions.
The term of protection for a trade mark registration in common law countries is usually granted for a period of 10 years from the date of application. The trade mark can be renewed after 10 years upon paying the renewal fees.
Some countries allow a lapsed registration to be restored and reinstated. The laws vary among countries, however. We will monitor the deadline and send reminders to you prior to the deadline. Kindly drop us a message, and we are happy to provide a price quote for your consideration.
